JAKARTA – The Information and Communication Technology Research Center of the Bandung Institute of Technology (PPTIK – ITB) openly invites technology provider partners to collaborate in forming a holistic ecosystem capable of accompanying Digital Transformation in all industries in Indonesia.
Several ecosystem representatives and several technology provider partners who were involved in this event included AVEVA, Schneider Electric Indonesia, Technip Energies, SoftwareAG, and local partners such as Trinet Prima Solusi, Piranti Sarana Technology, Masadji Techno Niaga, and Automa.
“This marks PPTIK – ITB’s commitment as a research and study thought leader in providing a big impact, both for the Government and Business Entities,” explained PPTIK – ITB Business Development Senior, Rizky Andrika in his explanation to media crew, Thursday (30/11/2023).
According to Rizky, this initiative is expected to become the main axis of digital transformation in Indonesia, connecting the Government, State-Owned Enterprises, Institutions and Industry.
“In an era of rapid technological progress, PPTIK – ITB is taking bold steps to present a holistic approach to digital transformation. The ITB Digital Transformation Center initiative involves close collaboration between educational institutions, technology providers, consultants and software providers. The aim is to accelerate digitalization, starting from initial research to realizing successful digital transformation,” he explained.
Rizky added that a high-level meeting was held on October 26 2023 which became the stage for PPTIK – ITB together with technology partners. This initiative seeks to form a dynamic ecosystem to encourage digital transformation in Indonesia.
“In addition to these meetings, a series of events held towards the end of December will play a key role in building understanding and exchange of knowledge among key stakeholders,” he said.
He said that the Grand Launching of the ITB Digital Transformation Center, which will take place at the end of December 2023, is expected to be an important moment in Indonesia’s digital transformation journey.
“This event will unite the commitment of all parties to work together in realizing a digitally transformed Indonesia which will be emphasized at the event,” he explained.
The ITB Digital Transformation Center, which was initiated by PPTIK – ITB together with its technology partners, is expected to shape a digital transformation landscape that promises progress and prosperity for Indonesia.
“The Indonesian people are enthusiastically waiting for the birth of the digital era which will bring a wave of positive change,” he concluded.(*)
